Finally! I have been eyeing these babies for the longest time, even before I started out this blog. The Careline Blushes are so cheap for ₱80 a pop and they are very pigmented as well. It comes with a white sponge that is super soft and perfect for travelling, it does transfer the color well on the cheeks but if you wanted a more even and natural application, go for a fluffy blush brush.
The blushes are enriched with Vitamin E and claims to control oil on the area where it is applied. I got 2 shades which are Fresh Tomato and Starlight Shine.
FRESH TOMATO

STARLIGHT SHINE

I purchased this because I wanted to know if there is an affordable contour/bronzing powder. When I swatched this before purchasing, it appeared matte so I bought it but when I got home to take some photos of swatches, I was surprised because it has shimmers. Now that's why it's called Starlight Shine (go figure). This is also pigmented, and a little goes a long way. This can still be used as a contour powder though, as the shimmers eventually fades.
Here are the swatches:
Left: Starlight Shine, Right: Fresh Tomato
What I like about this product:
- Very cheap and affordable.
- 7 shades to choose from.
- Highly pigmented.
- Packaging is sturdy, compact and travel friendly.
- The clear cover makes it easier to see the color inside.
- Does not cause breakouts.
- Long lasting.
- Controls oil for 6 hours.
- Easy to blend.
- No scent at all.
What I didn't like about this blush:
- Nothing!
If you are looking for an affordable, good quality powder blush then I suggest that you pick one of these blushes. For only ₱80, you can achieve that pretty flushed look.
