Tutorial: Simple With A Pop Of Color Makeup For School

Hello Pinay Beauties! It's back to school season and as per your request, here is a simple makeup look with a pop of color perfect for school or work. The best thing about it? I only used less than 10 products to achieve this look. If you wanted to know how it's done, please keep reading.

1. Using a damped wedge sponge, I applied SanSan Liquid Matte Foundation (review coming soon). I combined #2 and #3 to find a perfect match, but you can use any foundation or BB cream that you prefer. I used foundation because I needed more coverage.

2. Next, I used Nichido Minerals Precise Eye Pencil in Tiger Eye to line the hollows of my cheek, jawline and the sides of my nose. Flipping to the clean side of the sponge, blend until it looks like a natural shadow. Then I applied Nichido Multiple Stick in Sunset Glow on my cheeks and blended it as well for a natural flush. Apply the same cream blush as a lip color. Set everything with powder. Here I used Maybelline Clear Smooth All In One Shine Free Cake Powder.

3. Using the same dark brown pencil, I filled in my brows and used an angled brush to diffuse the color.

4. Now let's move on to the eyes. Using a silver or a white shimmer eyeshadow, place it on the middle of the lids, the brow bone and the inner corner for highlight.

5. Next, take a bright colored eyeshadow of your choice and line your eyes with it. I chose the blue color from the Ever Bilena Matte Eyeshadow Trios in Samba. Tip: Wet the eyeshadow brush so that the color will pop more.

6. Line your upper lashline and the outer third of your lower lashline with a brown eyeliner. You can use black, and you can use liquid or gel, but I prefer a dark brown pencil eyeliner because it is more forgiving and looks more natural. Plus, it compliments with the blue eyeshadow.

7. Curl your lashes and apply mascara. I am using the Daiso Long Lash Mascara that I got from Saizen.

8. These are optional, but you can take a white/nude eyeliner pencil and line your waterline for a more wide awake look. Also, you can use the silver/white shimmer eyeshadow as a highlight on the top of your cheeks and nose bridge.

And here is the finished look:

I hope you find this tutorial helpful. If I am still studying or if I am working in an office I would definitely rock this look. You can use a different bright colored eyeshadow: yellow. pink, purple, your choice.

Let me know guys if you have other requests, comments, suggestions, etc.Thank you so much for all of your support. My monthly favorites post is coming up, so please stay tuned. Goodluck!
