Face Of The Day: Fresh Face Neutral Look

Hello everyone and happy Monday! I posted a picture on my Facebook page of the products I used when I went out this weekend and I received such a warm response that I decided to create a post about it. This is my very first FOTD post, so I am very excited and I hope you like it.

One of my lovely readers Cassandra asked what are the product brands and if they are affordable, so I am going to list the product I used as well as quick walk-through as to how I used the said products.

1. Apply your primer to make the makeup last longer and also to create a smooth canvass.
2. I used the darker shade on the Conceal It kit to cover my prominent blemishes. Let it set for a while so the pigments of the concealer will stick into the skin.
3. Using your favorite eyebrow pencil/product, lightly fill in your brows. Brush with the spoolie to diffuse the color and make it look softer.
4. Taking a pea size amount of the BB Cream, I lightly mixed it at the back of my hand to break the color capsules and applied it using a flat top brush all over the face, working and blending lightly on areas with concealer.
5. Taking the lighter shade of concealer, conceal your undereye circles and highlight the bridge of the nose, sides of the nose and mouth, center of the chin and the forehead. Blend it lightly with the flat top brush.
6. Lightly apply and blend your cream blush on the apple of the cheeks. Set everything with your setting powder using a powder brush.
7. Taking a beige colored eyeshadow, apply it all over the lids as a wash of color. Do not forgot to add a little more on the browbone and inner corner of the eyes for a bit of highlight.
8. Using a copper eyeshadow, lightly pat it on the center of the lids. Lastly, take a dark brown eyeshadow and lightly blend in on the outer corner of the eyes up to the crease. Remember to blend, blend, blend.
9. Taking an eyeliner pen, line the upper lashline as thinly as possible, slightly winging out for a slight cat eye effect. Line the inner rim of the upper lashline with your blackest eyeliner to fill in the gaps and spaces.
10. Of course, curl your lashes and apply your favorite mascara on the upper and lower lashes.
11. Lastly, apply your favorite lip color.

That's it! I hope you enjoyed this post and it has been helpful. Let me know if you wanted to see more FOTDs or tutorials. Thank you so much for reading guys. Keep smiling, stay pretty and goodluck!

Great tutorial, I like wearing minimal makeup-but not boring. You look incredible-just right. I like the easy way you listed the steps-thank you! :)
