My Sample Room Loot: Haul and First Impressions

Hello Pinay Beauties! I cannot believe that this is my 101th post! Thank you so much for your continuous support and love, and for always inspiring me to write reviews, hauls, tutorials, etc. just for you guys. It feels so nice to be able to share to you these things and feel that they are super appreciated.

Anyway, enough with the cheesy part. Today, I just wanted to share with you my recent Sample Room loot.
I think this is the first time that I created a blogpost about Sample Room, so let me give you a quick intro about it.

What is Sample Room?
How It Works
Upon registration, you will receive points so you can try out some of the products (I forgot how many points exactly). You can choose up to 3 items per order, and you would only need to pay for the shipping fee.

I have been a member of Sample Room for quite some time now, and I believe I have ordered a few samples from them before. Oh, and by reviewing the sample items you got you will be able to receive points, which you can use to get more samples. You can also buy 1,000 points for ₱599 which is not bad, since you will be able to get more samples plus you will get them back once you posted a review on their website. Pretty cool, huh?

So I recently ordered a few samples from them. These are actually 2 transactions but I decided to just create one post for it.

Vidal Sassoon Premium Color Care Series (Shampoo, Conditioner and Treatment)
I actually got 2 sets of these babies. For the first transaction, I got the Premium Color Care Shampoo and Conditioner (104 points) and the Premium Color Care Treatment (80 points), then for the next transaction I got the whole series for 500 points. Getting the items separately (my first transaction) actually requires less points but I love these products that I am afraid to ran out of it so I spent my 500 points to get the whole series. Now I have back up for these babies. :) I will post a very quick review of these products tomorrow so stay tuned.

VMV Hypoallergenics Armada Sport 70
Sample Size 5 ml - 50 points
This is a sunscreen from VMV Hypoallergenics with SPF 70. I actually got this for my partner because this is the only sunscreen that works for her highly sensitive skin. I thought that the sample would come in a tube but I was surprised to see it in a test tube-like container. They also included a spatula so you can take the product out of the container. I actually liked this concept.

Celeteque Hydration Make-Up Remover Wipes
Sample Size 20 sheets - 50 points
I was actually pretty excited to try this one out because this is the first "legit" makeup remover wipes that I will ever use. I was actually pretty impressed. It smells super good and very moisturizing. I put this to the test by swatching a waterproof eyeliner and glitter eyeliner, two of the most pesky things to remove from your skin. Here are the swatches before using this product:
These products are dry and I tried smudging them to see if they will not smudge. Here's what it looks like after swiping the makeup remover once:
As you can see, the glitter eyeliner was easily remove with just a little residue. For the eyeliner, most of the pigment has been removed. The best way to use this is to let it soak for a while and swiping it once with just a slight pressure. I love this and will definitely purchase it when I visit the department store.

Colour Collection Vitamin E Lipstick in Pinkish Nude
Full Size - 85 points
This is actually a sheer lipstick, and the color is pretty natural. It falls under the MLBB lipstick category. I have read reviews however that it is not long lasting, but that is expected from a creamy and sheer lipstick. Here is a swatch for you reference:

Overall I am super happy with my Sample Room haul! Right now they are sampling ZA Cosmetics Perfect Solution skincare products, but I don't have enough points to grab some samples because they haven't approved my reviews yet. Oh well. I am definitely looking forward to grabbing more samples from them in the future. Hope they can bring more interesting products to try out.

Have you tried Sample Room before? What are your thoughts about it? Let me know by posting a comment below.

Thank you so much for reading guys. And again, please watch out for my quick review of the Vidal Sassoon products tomorrow. Stay pretty ladies (and gents) and as always, goodluck!

There are many beauty boxes in the market that let you sample new products but still, nothing beats Sample Room. It's addicting! (Now waiting on my doorstep for my Za haul) ^_^
