Why I Love Vidal Sassoon #GetSassooned

Hello everyone! This post was supposed to be up a few days ago, but certain events came up so there was a delay. Anyways, I just wanted to share with you what and why I love these products. It is none other than these Vidal Sassoon hair products.

I was very fortunate to be able to try out these products because finally, I was able to find my hair's bestfriend. Recently, I got a haircut and decided to color my hair. Here are some photos for your reference:
My hair is thick and is almost jet black so it is a little stubborn when it comes to dyeing. I used Lolane's Pixxel Color Cream in P35 Extra Light Blonde to achieve a lighter hair color. I bought the hair color for ₱129 only and I love the outcome, but my hair suffered. It was super dry and it feels brittle and frizzy, so I knew that I have to restore it. Good thing Vidal Sassoon came to my aid.

Who is Vidal Sassoon?
Vidal Sassoon was the original salon genius. His forward-thinking and innovative techniques revolutionized the hair industry, inspired trends and changed the hairdressing world forever. Driven by an insatiable curiosity to understand and bring forward the future, Vidal Sassoon blended influences from the worlds of fashion and design, to create a signature style which changed the face of female beauty. Today, Vidal Sassoon’s legacy thrives in the legendary Sassoon Salons, Academies and product lines.

I actually heard first of VS because of their hair tools. I love their pink 2-in-1 straightener and curler. I was then surprised when I received some of their hair care products from BDJ Box. Since then, I got hooked. I was super happy when Sample Room offered VS hair products, and I made it to the point to grab some samples.

[L-R] Premium Color Care Shampoo, Premium Color Care Conditioner and
Premium Color Care Treatment

Premium Color Care Shampoo
190 ml - ₱199

This shampoo is so-so. It does not lather as much as the others, and I find that I cannot use this alone (without conditioner). I feel that it strips the oil in my hair which is good since I have very oily hair, but if used alone has a tendency to be a bit drying.

Premium Color Care Conditioner
184 ml - ₱199

I love this conditioner! Although it was a bit challenging to dispense the product since I do not want to squeeze the bottle so hard that I end up with an amount that is too much, this baby keeps my hair moisturized and soft.

Premium Color Care Treatment
169 ml - ₱199

I use this 2 to 3 times a week after shampoo and conditioner. It smells differently than the shampoo and conditioner but this really helps make my hair feels so soft and shiny. When rinsing this, my hair feels like butter under the shower.

[L-R] Magic Style Activator and Hair Treatment Mask

Magic Style Activator
30 ml - ₱349

The ultimate favorite out of the bunch! I understand that this item is for curly hair, but it is much more than that. This can be used after treatment or before styling to easily manage your hair. It also acts as a heat protectant and a leave-on conditioner. Regardless, the smell of this product and how a little amount goes a long way (at least for my short hair) is really worth it. It makes my hair so manageable that it will retain its style, and keeps it moisturized throughout the day without making it too much oily.

Hair Treatment Mask
178 ml - ₱349

I use this twice a week to keep my hair soft, moisturized and shiny. I use a handful of these and let it stay on for 2 to 3 minutes before rinsing. I also love how it makes my hair bouncy. I am almost out of this but will definitely repurchase.

I have been using these products for 2 weeks now and I must say that my hair feels so soft and moisturized, and my hair color is super vibrant. I am super happy, and will continue using them in the future.

I am inspired to #GetSassooned because I would love to show my fearless and fierce personality, that being "outside the box" is good as long as you express your true self and you are happy.

Have you tried using Vidal Sassoon? What are your thoughts? Let me know by posting a comment below. Thank you so much for reading everyone, and I will see you in my next post! Goodluck!
