December BDJ Box Unboxing + Holiday Look ft. Max Factor

Hello Pinay Beauties! I am still sick, my cough is worst than ever but I am excited to share with you my December BDJ Box. And yes, it is a collaboration box with Max Factor.
When I saw a post from BDJ Box that they will be having a workshop with Max Factor, I kind of felt that this month's box will be a collaboration or if not, there will be Max Factor items inside. I was really happy when I saw the box and immediately uttered "Sabi na eh!"
This month's theme is "Stand Out Like A Star." They partnered with Max Factor to offer a makeup set that has everything you need to feel and look like an A-Lister.
Let's talk about the products inside, yes?

Creme Puff Pressed Powder in 41 Medium Beige (Full Size)
Full Size 21 g - ₱575
This product is one of the classic and most loved product from Max Factor. It has been 60 years since this is first launched, and I think they repackaged this recently with the gold packaging instead of this black one. For a pressed powder, this offers pretty good coverage and it also mattifies the face really well. I got the shade Medium Beige and it is a bit dark but still workable, since I have a lot of BB Creams and foundations that is lighter than my skin.
What I don't like about it is the smell, it smells like old foundations, basically it smells like Kokuryu but the scent fades after a few minutes.

Earth Spirits Eyeshadow in 108 Inca Bronze (Sample Size)
Full Size 3 g - ₱445
This is the first time that I tried an eyeshadow from Max Factor, and it is described as the perfect everyday eyeshadow that is very versatile and can be used light for daytime look, heavy for a night makeup look and as an eyeliner too. I got the shade Inca Bronze and it is this very beautiful bronze-y gold color.
I think they are right. This bronze color can be used in your everyday makeup look, especially if you wanted something natural but will pop when the light hits it. Downside for me is the price. ₱445 is a bit expensive for a single eyeshadow, at least for me.

Kohl Pencil in 020 Black (Sample Size)
Full Size 1.2 g - ₱425
I love this eyeliner! It is very pigmented and I love its texture too. It is not dry that you can easily glide and smudge it out but it is not too creamy as well that it will melt in your eyes after a few hours.

Masterpiece Max High Volume & Definition Mascara in Black (Sample Size 5.3 ml)
Full Size 7.2 ml - ₱695
This mascara is love at first swipe! With 1 coat, your lashes are instantly lengthened and with 2 coats of this mascara, you get long and thick lashes without clumps! I think this is not the waterproof formula, because it keeps my lashes soft while holding the curl. I love the mascara wand as well. It has rubber bristles that is longer in the back and shorter towards the end of the wand, perfect for those tiny lower lashes.
I am not sure if the full size version has the same wand, but if yes then this is a must have.

Colour Collection Lipstick in 510 English Rose (Sample Size)
Full Size 3.5 g - ₱595
This is just a small sample tube of the Colour Collection Lipstick. The photo above is pretty true to color, but here is a swatch:
I think the color is really flattering if you have fair skin, since the lipstick is a bit shiny. It is moisturizing, but I really don't like the scent. It smells like how old lipstick used to smell.

Glossfinity Nail Polish in 145 Noisette (Sample Size)
Full Size 10 ml -  ₱245
I love the color of this polish! It is this dark purple color with super tiny specks of gold. I tried it immediately when I got it and here's how it looks like:
I've been wearing Essie's Nail Polish in Case Study for a few days and decided to use this polish as my accent nail color. It is super shiny and glossy that I reapplied top coat on my other nails. Yes, I didn't apply a top coat on this polish and it looks really glossy and shiny. Not sure though if it will last for 7 days but so far so good.

BONUS ITEM: Facefinity All Day Flawless 3-in-1 Foundation (Samples, 1 ml each)
Full Size 30 ml -  ₱925
When Max Factor launched this foundation, I really wanted to try it but the hefty price tag stopped me. I am super happy to try out this foundation. I got 2 shades and here are the swatches:
Left: Beige 55, Right: Golden 75

First impression is that it smells and it feels like the Covergirl 3-in-1 foundation. They claim the same thing basically: primer, foundation and concealer in 1. I think my perfect shade is in between these 2, but I will pick Golden since it has more of the yellow undertone while Beige is more on the neutral side. You get to see this foundation in action below. :)

Oh, and BDJ also sent me the Focus/Finish BDJ Forget-Me-Not List Journal. I actually got the Create/Inspire (Red) one when I attended the Shiseido Beauty Soiree, and I am glad to have another one since this journal is very handy and I love that you can easily tear up the pages out of it.
Overall, I am happy with my December box. You know guys how much I love makeup, and I love BDJ's concept of collaborating with makeup brands and coming up with an "exclusive box." I am super excited for the next month's box!

And as I have mentioned earlier, BDJ Box will be having a makeup workshop with Max Factor on December 14, Saturday, 3 pm to 6 pm.

And here's my Holiday Makeup Look:

Products Used:
For the face, I used the Facefinity Foundation in Beige. Yes, it is lighter than my skin but I balanced it out with the darker Creme Puff Pressed Powder and my Rimmel Natural Bronzer which I concentrated on the outer part of the face. I didn't use concealer instead I doubled up my foundation as my undereye concealer and set it as well as my T-Zone with my Ben Nye Cameo Powder. I then used a little amount of Maybelline Cheeky Glow on the cheeks.

For the brows I used my Nature Republic Eyebrow Pencil. I then took the second matte shade from my Wet N' Wild Greed Palette on my crease and outer lower lashline then used the lightest matte shade as browbone highlight. I then took my Inca Bronze Eyeshadow in a wet brush and packed the color all over the lids as well as the lower lashline. I lined my eyes with the Kohl Pencil in Black and winged it a little bit. Curled my lashes and applied the Masterpiece Max Mascara on both the upper and lower lashes.

For the lips, I decided to go with this dark berry lip color for added glam on the look. The one I used here is the Miner's Matte Effect in Vixen.

How do you like this make up look? Go ahead and create your own holiday, party or everyday make-up look using Max Factor products for a chance to score an invite in this exclusive beauty soiree. Oh I can't wait to meet Bobby Carlos!
