My Monthly Favorites: November 2013

Hello guys! How is everyone doing? I haven't done a monthly favorites post in a long time, heck I haven't had any new posts for weeks now. :( Anyway, here are my used and abused items for the month of November.

ZA Perfect Solution Cleansing Foam and
Olay White Radiance celLucent™ White Cream Moisturizer

Let's start with skincare, ofcourse. I've been loving the ZA Perfect Solution Cleansing Foam ever since I got it from the November BDJ Box. It lathers really really well and my face feels squeaky clean after.

The Olay Moisturizer is something that I got from my September BDJ Box and I have been using this since then. It is very non-greasy and it smells amazing. I am not sure if it really helps whiten my skin or lighten my spots/acne marks, but I love that it keeps my face moisturized. I experienced dryness around the sides of my nose for weeks and this moisturizer helped a lot.

The Cream Factory Bath Cream

Oh I love, love, love this baby so much! I cannot rave enough about this product. It smells good, feels super moisturizing and it leaves my skin so soft and supple! I am almost done with this bottle and I will definitely repurchase. If you want to get one yourself, they have outlet stores at Landmark and SM Supermarkets. The full size bottle, 26 fl. oz. costs ₱699. They also offer it in a bundle pack, where you can try 3 mini bottles (7.5 fl.oz. each) of different variants for ₱799.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer

Moving on to makeup products, I had this concealer for quite some time now which I got from Bon Marche and I love it. Considering my quite wrinkly and oily undereyes, this baby doesn't crease on me, even if you don't set it with powder. It also covers dark circles really well and just lightens up my undereye area. I also use this to cover the redness at the sides of my nose, corners of the mouth and also as a highlighter.

Ben Nye Luxury Powder in Cameo

I love my Ben Nye Neutral Set, and I love this Luxury Powder in Cameo too. Unlike the Neutral Set which is a colorless powder, this has a slight tint of brown in it but not too much. I prefer this over the Banana because Banana is too yellow for me. I primarily use this to set my highlighted areas (undereyes and T Zone). You can grab this 15g sampler for only ₱200 at Kering Keri Store. I use this with my kabuki brush from Pretty Angel Shoppe which is an absolute love too!

Wet N' Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette in Greed

I got this from Kering Keri Store as well. I actually ordered the Lust Palette but it was OOS so Eunice sent me this one instead. I was not disappointed because this is just a perfect neutral palette for everyday as well as for day to night makeup looks. The matte cream shadow is the perfect browbone highlight shade and just look at the gorgeous black shimmery shade. I will be posting a review of this palette this month so watch out for it.

Maybelline Cheeky Glow in Peachy Sweetie

An absolute favorite and something that I will highly recommend. The blush is very smooth and easily blendable. The color is very natural and although it has a matte finish, it really adds glow to your face. I have recommended this blush to friends/family and they all love it.

Revlon Lash Potion by Grow Luscious Waterproof Mascara

I got this earlier this year from Bon Marche and just stacked it on my traincase. One day out of curiosity I used this mascara for an event since it is waterproof. I was not disappointed by it. This mascara claims to spell-binding volume and length and is packed with ingredients to make the lashes longer and revitalized. The wand is also something they called the "Illusionist Wand." At first, I think the wand is weird because there's a mixture of long and short bristles everywhere, but it works so no complains from me.
One thing I noticed and read through reviews is that this waterproof formula tends to flake off. A trick I discovered is to wipe the wand into a tissue first to remove excess product before coating your lashes. Do not use too much and make sure to put the second layer as fast as you can so that it doesn't clump. The mascara lasts all day long and really holds the curl of the lashes.

Glory Of New York Waterproof Automatic Eye Pencil in Dark Chocolate.
Maybelline Unstoppable Eyeliner in Onyx and
Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal in Nude

My favorite eyeliners as of the moment. I got the GON Waterproof Eye Pencil when I went to the 2013 Beauty Fair held in Tomas Morato. At that time it was on sale for ₱300 so I bought one. The texture of the pencil is a bit dry and waxy, but still glides on smoothly. This texture makes it perfect to use for the brows as well. The smudger that is included with the eyeliner works really well too.

The Maybelline Unstoppable Eyeliner is something I got as a bundle with my HG mascara, the Maybelline One by One Mascara. The liner is super creamy and glides on perfectly. It is also very pigmented and waterproof. It works better than the Master Liner which is available here in the Philippines. I am not sure where I can purchase this so if you know any resellers of this eyeliner, please let me know.

The Rimmel Scandal Eyes Eyeliner in Nude has been getting great reviews from beauty gurus so I know I have to get my hands on them. I am really really happy with the performance of this liner. Unlike other white/beige/pink waterliner that disappears after a few hours, this baby stays on all day and really opens up the eyes.

Barenaturals Lip Stix in Butterfly Kisses and
Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss in 11

Being the lipstick junkie that I am, this month's favorites will not be complete without the fave lipsticks of the month. I have been experiencing dry chapped lips for the past few weeks and my go-to lip product is the BareNatural Lip Stix. These are actually lip butters with shea butter and other moisturizing ingredients for the lips. The color is really pretty too, it's just a natural pink color. It smells sweet and minty too!

Ever since I got the confidence to wear red lipsticks outside of the house, I never stopped wearing them. My favorite for the past month is the Kate Lasting Finish Lipstick in #11. I love the color of this lipstick, it is a muted red with a blue undertone, it's actually on the maroon side of red. It smells like cherries though, which I am not a big fan of but the color and the finish is amazing.

ELF Makeup Mist & Set

I am still in the hunt for a good setting spray so I got this ELF setting spray that I have been meaning to try out. Although it doesn't really help in the oil control department, it makes my makeup looks like my natural skin. The finish is semi-matte, and it does not have that pungent or chemical smell.

Maybelline Eye & Lip Makeup Remover and
Celeteque Hydration Makeup Remover Wipes

I really enjoy using these makeup removers when it's time to wash off my makeup. The eye & lip makeup remover from Maybelline is effective in removing waterproof eyeliners/mascaras and lip stains, while the Celeteque Makeup Remover wipes effectively removes all of my face makeup. It smells really good too! They are both oil-based so I still need to wash of my face to remove the oils and other dirt that might not have been removed.

Victoria's Secret Refreshing Body Mist in Pear Glace

Last but not the least is my fragrance of the month. My partner gave this to me as a gift and I love the smell. It really suits my pheromones as well, making it smell even better once I perspire. Not that long lasting though, but body mists are supposed to be reapplied after a few hours so I am good. I just need to buy a small spray bottle so I can transfer some, bringing this big bottle a bit bulky.

Whew! That was a long list. I hope you enjoy this post. Let me know if you have any questions, thoughts, request, suggestions, etc. by posting a comment down below. Tomorrow I will be posting my December Glamourbox Unboxing so stay tuned. Goodluck!
