Review: Ever Bilena Evera Blush and Lip Glow

Hello Pinay Beauties! How was your Valentine's Day? Mine was okay, we really didn't go out because it was a Friday, Valentine's Day and "Sweldo" Day so I know the traffic was going to be really bad.

Anyways, this post has been a long time coming and I have been procrastinating with writing this one. You see, I have took a lot of photos for my posts and I actually will be taking more because I have a lot of ideas but sometimes I find it hard to write the content. But, I was finally able to do it and here is my much awaited review of the Ever Bilena Evera Blush and Lip Glow.
I have seen this last year and it really intrigued me. I tried looking for reviews online and I didn't find any which means I am the first one to post this. I got really curious to try this one out because it was a super affordable and locally made blush and lip tint.

I bought this for ₱80.00 each at Ever Commonwealth. I asked the SA why they are separate products and if I can use the Blush Glow for the lips and vice versa. She said that it is not recommended since they have different formulation. I will discuss more about this later.

Now for the packaging, they come in this pink and white squeeze tube. To be honest, I am not fond of squeeze tubes in general. I prefer something with a pump or an applicator because it is less messy and more hygienic, that is just my preference though. I like how small it is that it can easily fit into your kikay kit or your pocket.
For shade selection, well there is one shade per product and that is a universal pink color which will fit both morenas and mestizas alike. For your reference, here are some swatches:
Left: Blush Glow; Right: Lip Glow

As you can see, the Blush Glow is white while the Lip Glow is transparent. Consistency wise, the blush feels more like a cream which is very light and easy to blend while the Lip Glow feels like a gloss and it feels thicker.

I blended out the products and here's what it looks like:
As you can tell, the Blush Glow dries into a matte, smooth texture. Freshly applied, it is a bit runny and watery but it will eventually set. The Lip Glow on the other hand leaves a glossy, shiny look. Now I know why they can't be use alternately, since the Blush Glow is watery when applied it might not tint the lips, and you don't want to have a blush that looks super shiny right?

EVERA BLUSH GLOW
Ingredients:
This really reminds me of the Sophie Paris Magic Pink, the only difference is the smell. This smells like sweet candy, while the Sophie one smells like baby powder. Just like Sophie Paris Magic Pink, you have to be careful of the amount you put on your cheeks. Three tiny dots on each cheek will give you a very natural flush:

EVERA LIP GLOW
Ingredients:
At first, I really didn't like this product because I thought it was too shiny or too thick on the lips. But I found out that once it settles on the lips. it really feels comfortable and the shine was not too much. I still love matte finishes, don't get me wrong, but these days I find that applying a bit of lip gloss can make you look younger and your face so much brighter.
I really like the effect of this on the lips. As you can see, it makes it look more pinkish and a bit plump. I love using this on top of a pink lipstick or a pink lipliner, or just use it on its own if I want a very natural look.

And did I mention that they last the whole day? Well, the blush lasts the whole day without retouching and I didn't find that it made my face oily. For the lip tint, the gloss will definitely be gone after a few hours, or if you drink or eat but the tint is there. I love how it just naturally tints the lips, not too overwhelming like other tints as the Fran Wilson Moodmatcher Lipsticks.

What I like about these products:
- Easily available, can be found on department stores, supermarket, 7-11 and Mercury Drug.
- Affordable at ₱80.00 each.
- Packaging, it is small and travel friendly.
- Smells like sweet candy.
- Tint lasts the whole day, no need to retouch.
- Looks very natural, perfect for everyday use.

What I didn't like about this product:
- Blush Glow may be a bit tricky to use, you need to use just the right amount to cover the cheeks or else you might overblush.
- Lip Glow may be a bit too shiny or too sticky for some. You can let the product sit for a few minutes, then wipe off the gloss if you like a more matted look.

And that is it for my review! I hope you guys find it helpful and let me know if you have tried or planning to try these products and what are your thoughts about it. I actually love both of them but as always, these are from my personal experience and usage of the products so what works for me might not work for you. Can't wait to hear your thoughts about them.

Thank you so much for reading! I will be posting another review tomorrow and it is going to be a brush set that I got from Romwe, which you may have seen in my Valentines/Date Makeup Tutorial. Stay pretty, and goodluck!

Hey!!! Thanks for posting this. I remember requesting a review. If I didn't, I intended to. Ang galing ng ever bilena, they're really amping it up.

By the way, I think we have similar facial features. Our eyes and nose are very similar, and my lower lips is a little bigger than my upper lip too. I've always wondered why I find your FOTDs doable, now I know.

Thanks Rae, hope you enjoyed the review.

We both do have similar features, but you are prettier than me. :)
