Tutorial: Sweet Valentines/Date Budget Makeup

Hello Pinay Beauties! Since it is the month of hearts and Valentines Day is just a few days away, I wanted to share you how to create a sweet look perfect for a special date.
1. If you are going outdoors or if you have oily skin and wanted to make your makeup last the whole day long, do not forget to use primer. Here I used the Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser.
2. Create a flawless canvass with your favorite foundation and concealer. I love this San San HD Foundation and Concealer because it is long lasting and looks good both in person and in photos, just in case you wanted to capture your special day together.

3. I usually let my face makeup set and move on to the brows. The combo that I am using here is my Nichido Minerals Pencil in Tiger Eye and Etude House Color My Brows. For a more youthful look, do not create an high arc as this will make you look mature.
4. Prime your eyes using an eye primer or your concealer, just so the shadow has something to stick on to. For this look, I will be using the Nichido Naturally Beautiful Palette. First off, pack on a pink shadow (1) all over the lids. You can use your fingers for this process.
5. Next, use a slight purple-y shade for the crease. Wedge the color on the crease first, wipe off the excess product in your brush and blend the shadow up and out. Make sure that there are no harsh edges.

6. With your eyes open, wedge a dark reddish brown (3) color on the outer corner of the eyes. This way, you already know the shape to follow for your outer V. Just blend out the colors and build the intensity to your liking. Smudge this color on the lower lashline as well, stopping midway.

7. Lastly, highlight your inner corners and your browbone with the white shadow (4). Make sure to use a little bit on the browbone since this shadow has shimmers on it.

8. Next, tightline your eyes with the brown pencil or brown gel eyeliner. Line your eyes as well and create a slight wing. Winged eyeliner is really flirty and just add an accent to the look. Whatever is left on the brush, line the outer third of the lower lashline as well. Here I am using my Maybelline Gel Eyeliner in Brown. I used brown because it is more forgiving and more subtle than black eyeliner.
9. Of course, curl your lashes and apply mascara. I am using the Maybelline The Rocket Mascara here. Line your waterline as well with the Nichido Minerals Spot Concealer to open them up and to look more awake.
10. Going back to the face makeup, I apply the pink blush from the palette as a blush, taking a little bit of product since this is super pigmented. If you applied too much, don't worry because we will still powder the face to blend it all out. You can also opt to apply a highlighter on the tops of the cheeks, bridge of the nose, forehead, cupid's bow and chin using a small amount of the white shadow.
11. To finish off the face, apply setting powder all over. Here I am using the Snoe Poudre Extraordinaire and sealing everything in wth the ELF Makeup Mist & Set.
12. Last but not the least, apply a sweet pink lip color. I used the Maybelline Colorsensational Lipstick in Angel Rose.
And here is the finished look:
If you are going out at night, you can replace the eyeshadow on the outer V with a black brown/black shadow, and you can definitely use black eyeliner. Hope you liked this tutorial and let me know your thoughts by posting a comment below.

Note: The brushes used and posted on the photos above are from the Romwe 24 Piece Professional Soft Makeup Brush Set. Review will be posted soon so please watch out for it.

How is the San San foundation? I heard it cakes. Does it dissolve when you sweat? Does it hold oil well? :)
