Crazy Over BB Creams: San San BB Cream

Hello guys! It's been a while since I posted a review for this series, and its because I haven't really had time to explore new BB Creams. Anyway, here are my thoughts about the San San BB Cream.

When they first released this BB Cream, it only came in one shade but now there are 2: Beige and Natural. Beige is the darker of the 2, and in my experience with San San there are light shades are too light for me. This retails for  ₱149, but I got it on sale for around  ₱99.

Product Description and Ingredients:
As always, let's talk about packaging first. I really, really like packaging since it has a pump, even though it has a tube container. The pump makes it more hygienic.
As mentioned, I picked the darker of the 2 shades, which is a bit dark for me but nothing a light powder cannot remedy. Here are some swatches:
Consistency wise, it felt a bit heavy for a BB Cream, and I noticed that it has quite the coverage. Despite the heavy feel, it is creamy and blendable. It also has a noticeable dewy finish.

The scent is the classic San San scent, the vanilla-chocolate scent but it wears off after a few minutes. Here's how it looks like on my face:
As you can see, it was able to cover most of my imperfections and acne scars, aside from my active acne. I was really impressed on the coverage as well as the finish.

I wasn't able to take an after photo or the blotting paper test since I ran out, but I noticed that after 2 hours my face looked like a grease-ball and the BB Cream sliding off my skin. A primer, setting powder and setting spray is a must if you want to make this long lasting, and blotting is also required for oiliness.

What I like about this product:
- Affordable and widely available on HBC Outlets.
- 2 shades to choose from.
- Dewy to semi-matte finish.
- Hygienic packaging, it has a pump.
- It has vitamins and SPF 43.
- Very creamy and blendable.
- Awesome coverage, provides medium to full coverage.

What I didn't like about this product:
- Packaging can get easily dirty, pump doesn't work sometimes.
- A bit heavy on the skin.
- Cause a bit of a white cast in flash photography because of the high SPF.
- The scent.
- Poor oil control, made me super oily after 2 hours of wear.

If you are looking for an affordable BB Cream with good coverage and don't mind blotting and retouching throughout the day, I highly recommend this one. I think this will work great for an everyday makeup base, plus it is affordable so it doesn't really hurt your budget. I think the product will last you 2 months or more, depending on usage.

That is it for my review! Have you tried this BB Cream? What are your thoughts about it? Let me know by posting a comment below.
