Sample Room & Colour Collection's Hot Hues Event + Giveaway

Hello Pinay Beauties! I am super duper excited to create this post and share with you guys my first ever blogger event. Yesterday, I was invited to attend the Hot Hues Event by Sample Room and Colour Collection. Read more to learn about my experience.

This is the first time that I will be creating such post, so I'm apologizing in advance if this post is all over the place. :) I have been invited to other events before, but because of work and other matters I wasn't able to attend. When Sample Room contacted me, I know that I won't let the opportunity pass and that I need to attend.

I actually arrived late, around 4:50 PM at the OZ Bar - Holiday Inn Makati. Upon arriving, I was welcomed by the gorgeous Sophie Uy, owner of Sample Room and she explained to me what the event is all about. I wasn't able to take a photo with her, but I hope there will be a next time.

The Hot Hues Event is a collaboration between Sample Room and Colour Collection, a cosmetic brand from Tupperware Philippines. In this event, they launched 5 new summer shades from their Ultimate Wear Lipstick line, and they introduced Bianca Valerio's line too.

Once I was able to register, they asked me to remove my lipstick and chose one of Colour Collection's Ultimate Wear lipstick, because we need to put a kissmark on a card to stick to the "Make Your Mark" board. There are a lot of shades to choose from but I chose the darkest shade, Plum Promise.

Beside the "Make Your Mark" board, I saw Zandra Villagracia creating a painting out of lipsticks! She is really talented.

Here are her other artworks which were raffled off during the event. So sad that I wasn't picked because I badly want that piece on the left:

I then went ahead to the buffet area, where they served good food:

When I was looking for a table to sit down and eat, I got the chance to meet Monika of Mom Gone Vain, she's really pretty and sweet. Again, I wasn't able to take a photo with her, but I know that we will meet again. ;)

After a few minutes we were asked to go inside for the start of event. At our table, there were some makeup products that we can play around with.

We were seated at the front, so we were really able to see the makeup demonstrations by none other than the pretty Bianca Valerio.

She taught us different trends and ways to wear lipsticks. I also learned a lot of tips and tricks from her, plus I love how "beki" she is! She made the discussion super fun!

The night ended by giving away the art pieces, loot bags as well as an Intax Share to the lucky winners of their games. But of course,  everyone took home a bag full of goodies from them:

I really enjoyed the event and I would like to congratulate both Sample Room and Tupperware Philippines for a successful event. I was really surprised on how good this cosmetic line is, and if you haven't heard or tried any Colour Collection product, you should!
