Review and Swatches: Colorful Eyeliner Gel and Blush Palette from Born Pretty Store

Hello Pinay Beauties! Today I just wanted to share you these items that I got last month. The very kind Alicia asked me if I want to review some of the items in her shop, Born Pretty Store. I picked these items since I think they will be useful for me this summer.

Born Pretty Store is a Singapore-based online shop that was set up in 2010. They are known as one of the top online shops when it comes to nail art items but now, they have expanded their collection to cosmetics, accessories, cellphone cases, etc.

The items were sent via post so I have to claim it at the post office, which I am pretty used to right now. The package is neatly wrapped in bubble wrap so you can be sure that the items will arrive to you in pristine condition.

Ready to see the items that I got?

Obesity Dolls Waterproof Eyeliner Gel
This was pretty interesting for me since I am looking for colorful eyeliners. I actually requested a pink and a purple shadow so I can do a "Radiant Orchid" look but I got the gold one instead. I am not complaining though. ;)
Left: #4; Right: #7

These can actually be used both as a cream eyeshadow/base and as an eyeliner. They are quite shimmery but they look gorgeous on the lids. When I first dipped my fingers in the pot, they were too creamy. Not sure though if its the humidity here in our country. I found out that the best way to use this is to take a small amount in your brush, let it sit there for 30 seconds so it becomes a little dry then line the eyes. This way, the line will be super opaque. And once this sets, it is seriously waterproof and budgeproof! You will need an oil-based makeup remover to remove it.

Yorom Blush+Powder Color Makeup
This blush palette caught my eye when I was browsing through their products. Again, I requested for the one with a highlight and contour shade but received this one instead. I was a bit sad but looking at it now, I think the colors are gorgeous.
These blushes are pretty pigmented, a very little goes a long way. I love the light pink color since I don't have anything like that, as well as that orange brown color. It's too orange to use as a contour, but I think combined with a lighter peach blush I think it will look gorgeous. This is also budgeproof and long lasting.

Here is a look that I came up with these products:
I used my Maybelline Gel Liner in Black first, then I put the gold eyeliner gel on top. I put the pink eyeliner gel on the lower lashline. For the blush, I used the old rose shade on the back of my cheeks, the hot pink shade on the apples and added a little bit of the light pink color on top and apple of the cheeks.
and NYX Butter Gloss in Strawberry Parfait (Review soon)

Overall, I am super impressed with these products. I think I will be reaching out more for that blush palette, and the gel liners will be something that I will use on my lower inner lashline for that aegyosal effect.

Note: The products were sent to me for review, but everything written here are of my true and honest opinion.
