Review and Swatches: Ever Bilena Lip Pencil

Hello lovely readers! It's Sunday and as scheduled, here is a new review for you guys. :) Today, I will be reviewing the new version of the Ever Bilena Lip Pencil.
Ever Bilena had lip pencils ever since, but they didn't strike me as good as the Nichido ones, until they launched the new shades and formulation. I believe this was released last year, but I just had my hands on them last January.

They have 5 shades available: Cappuccino, Burgundy, Deep Orange, Deep Purple and Deep Pink. I actually wanted to get them all, but the Deep Purple color is disappointing (its lighter than Deep Pink) and I wouldn't really use the orange one.
[L-R] Cappuccino, Burgundy and Deep Pink

I actually love how it smoothly glides on the lips. It is creamy but sturdy enough for precise lining of the lips. Also, it stays on for hours and it doesn't budge or bleed so this is a really good base for your lipstick. It is not as drying, but you still definitely need to exfoliate and moisturize.

I am not sure why it appears more of a dark reddish brown on my lips, maybe because of the natural pigmentation, but this is a good neutral liner than I can use underneath a nude lipstick.

Oh I love this lip liner! :) It is a dark red with a bit of a purple tone. I love using this under my red lippies, or use it on its own and top with a clear gloss.

Look, look at this gorgeous color! Oh I am super inlove with this liner! I usually use this and top it off with the Evera Lip Glow.

What I like about this product:
- Affordable and readily available for ₱100/each.
- 5 shades to choose from.
- Super pigmented.
- Glides smoothly on the lips.
- Does not bleed out or smudge.

What I didn't like about this product:
- A little bit drying.
- Need to sharpen (Tip: Put it in the refrigerator first so it is easier to sharpen.)

Overall, I am inlove with these lip liners! I think it is super affordable and good quality. I actually prefer this now than the Nichido Lip Pencils. I am still thinking if I will get the 2 shades, just to complete the collection.

Have you tried these lip liners yet? What are your thoughts about them? Let me know in the comments below!

Thank you so much for reading guys! I hope you enjoyed this post, and if you have any requests for product review, tutorials, etc. just let me know! I will see you in my next post loves, goodluck!

Same here, I usually top it off with a gloss or balm. You should try it dear. :)
