Beauty Blossoms: April BDJ Box 7-Day Challenge

Hello Pinay Beauties! I am super sorry for my long absence, I was super caught up with work and personal stuff, but I am back and if you read my April BDJ Box Unboxing, I said that I will be joining the 7-Day Challenge and here's my entry! :)
For 7 days I tried all the products that I got from the Pixy box, and although there are some products that didn't work so well for me majority are two thumbs up!

For Day 1, I tested out the Pixy Ultimate Makeup Cake, since the claims were super intriguing. I tested it out, I loved it, and now a staple in my kit! I love how it brightens up the face and blurs my pores, that although it doesn't cover all of my blemishes, it makes my skin look silky smooth. :)

The next one I tried is the Pixy Waterproof Mascara. I usually stay away from mascaras with wet formula, since they always smudge on me, but even though this a wet mascara, once it sets it is budgeproof! I love how it lengthens my lashes, it really gives me the definition I need. FYI, on all photos I used this mascara so you can really see how I love it.

I cannot pick between the lipsticks that I got, so I decided to combine them! I actually wanted to do an ombre kind-of look, but the lipsticks did not give me the pigmentation that I want. I really, really love the Satin Finish Lipstick, I think it performs well than the Matte one.

Since I was super impressed by the Ultimate Makeup Cake, I decided to try the 2 powders inside the box. I tried first the Perfect Fit, which is actually meant for people with dry skin. Since I have oily skin, I used it with my super matte, almost drying foundation and it works great! I applied it to areas where my dry patches are peeking through, and it hid them. To be honest, I prefer this over the Perfect Matte, and I will explain why.

Now here is the Perfect Matte powder. I have high hopes for this powder and I really want it to work, but the Ultimate Makeup Cake works way better than this for my skin. I cannot use it alone because the coverage is so-so and it makes me oily in 2 hours time. I really wanted it to work since the name is Perfect Matte, but it didn't.

This is my fave post/entry of all! Everyone, meet my perfect summer color. I love, love, LOVE this color and I think it suits me too. I love the formula since it has a shine but not super glossy, and it is moisturizing! It doesn't emphasize my chapped lips, and the color stays on pretty well.

For the last day of the challenge, I decided to go all out and create my own natural Kawaii look! I really love the brown eyeliner since it is so cream and opaque, I didn't have a hard time applying it. And the blush went straight to my makeup kit after using it, because I just love the color, so much! It looks super natural and subtle.

And that's my take on the 7-Day Challenge! I hope my mini-reviews helped some of you who are interested in these products. :) I cannot wait for them to be available in department stores, I think I'm gonna hoard their eyeliners, lipsticks and blushes!

Thank you so much for reading loves! I will be posting after this my experience from the latest Beauty Soiree held by BDJ Box and Revlon. Excited? Me too. :)
