My Monthly Favorites: February-March 2014

Hello Pinay Beauties! Another month has passed, and it is a month that I am super grateful for. :) Today, I wanted to share with you my favorites from February to March.

I decided not to do a February Favorites posts since I rarely went out for the past 2 months, and there was a time I decided to do makeup hiatus because of severe breakouts. By the way, I have been using a new skincare routine from The Queen Essentials for 2 weeks now, and although the difference is not as significant I was able to see that my breakouts have been lessened (they are not as severe as before) and some of my acne scars are already lightening. I still get breakouts though, but they dry super fast too. I will do a  more comprehensive post about it soon.

Without any further ado, here are my favorites for the past month:

REAL TECHNIQUES MIRACLE COMPLEXION SPONGE

If you are looking for a dupe for the famed Beauty Blender, this is the closest thing to it. I really hunted this one down since I wanted to try it out, and I have been using it religiously ever since. It works well on liquid, cream and even powder products. Let me know if you want an in-depth review of this. I got this from Lipstick All U Can for ₱450.

CELETEQUE ANTI-WRINKLE ULTRA-HYDRATING CLEANSING OIL

I received these sample from Sample Room and it was love at first use. I was really impressed on how it takes all of my makeup off, even the most waterproof mascara, and it is moisturizing. It smells amazing too. When I finish my 4 sample sizes, I would definitely purchase a full-size one.

RIMMEL STAY MATTE LONG LASTING PRESSED POWDER

This product has been raved about, and I can totally see why. It is lightweight, it sets your foundation beautifully and it keeps my oil at bay. I think I have the shade Creamy Natural, and I got this one from The Vanity Zone.

MAKEUP ACADEMY PRO-BASE FIXING MIST

I am not sure if it really makes my makeup last longer, but it smells so good unlike the NYX Setting Sprays that smells like chemicals. It also sets the makeup beautifully, like it is your real skin. I also love how it produces micro-fine mist and it feels so light. Although this does not give a mattifying effect, I love how it makes my skin glowy, not oily or greasy. You can get this from Make Up Hub for ₱485.

ITSJUDYTIME PALETTE

Need I say more? I have used and abused this palette ever since I got it! I really love how versatile it is that I can't stop playing around with it. If you wanted to see my quick review and tutorials for this palette, please click here.

MAYBELLINE LASTING DRAMA GEL LINER AND
FS EYELASH CURLER SLIM

I already posted a review of the gel liner, so you know by now how much I love using this. The mini lash curler is something handy to have and I love that I was able to get all of my lashes curled with this little baby, even those hard to reach one. I will be posting a review about it soon so please stay tuned.

ELLANA MINERAL COSMETICS MAKEUP BRUSH CLEANER

I am really lazy when it comes to cleaning my brushes, but I don't want to use dirty ones too. This makeup brush cleaner gives me the best of both worlds as it is incredible in spot cleaning the brushes. You just spray it, swirl your brush into a tissue and ta-da, you have a clean brush that smells so good and dries in no time. I will showing you a demo of this on my upcoming Ellana Haul and Review, so please watch out for it.

NYX BUTTER GLOSSES, NYX BUTTER LIPSTICK IN TAFFY

AND COLOUR COLLECTION HOT KISS LIPSTICK IN KISSES WITH CREAM

I love these NYX Butter Glosses, and I wish I have more all of the colors! They smell so nice and it just adds a nice shine on the lips without looking like you ate lechon. As for the two lipsticks, which I also mention in my Crazy About Lipsticks Tag, I love the formula of the NYX Butter Lipstick and I want more colors, and that Kisses with Cream lipstick is a must-have.
