Guest Post: Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner Review

Hello Pinay Beauties! How are you guys? I know I have not been posting much here, but that is because I am focusing more on my Youtube channel so make sure to subscribe if you want to see more tutorials, or reviews, hauls, etc. :)

Today, I just wanted to share with you this guest post from Chen of Petite Smiles and I think you will love this because it is a product review! :)

Hello Beauties of Pinay Beauty in a Budget! I’m Chen from Petite Smiles, a blog I created to share reviews of beauty products from around the world (the U.S., Korea, Japan, etc - lots to come!) and posts related to fashion. Don’t forget to stop by, poke around & join the family :)

Today, I’ll be sharing a review of one of my most beloved and inexpensive toners - if your current skin care routine does not include a toner, I highly recommend you to try a toner! Toners are generally used after cleansing the face and are great for keeping your skin clean and refreshed. I have used Neutrogena’s Alcohol-Free Toner for over three years, and always come back to this toner after trying other toners.
This toner comes in a 8.5 fl oz (250ml) bottle in liquid form and is slightly scented. The bottle is translucent, which is a great indicator for when you may run low and need to re-purchase!

This toner aims to provide you with a clean and refreshed face without stripping it of its natural moisturizers. Simply pop the cap open, dap a cotton ball to absorb the product, and apply to your face after cleansing.

This toner is non-drying and not harsh at all - it leaves my face feeling clean and with just the right amount of tightness where it feels great. Take a peek at your cotton ball after you apply it - sometimes you may see other makeup product it has removed from your skin! My skin absorbs this toner fairly quickly and it does not leave behind any sticky residue nor does it make my face oily (which I LOVE because the last thing I want is my skin to look oily!). Since I have large pores, this toner also helps reduce and minimize my pore size. You can really tell a difference after applying this. I use this toner twice a day (morning & night) and it lasts me months. The only downside I have experienced from this toner is the packaging - I have tried toners where it has been designed in a way where the product is controlled and drips out one drop at a time when applying to a cotton ball. However, this toner contains a small opening where you can either pour it onto a cotton ball, or press the cotton ball against the opening and pour the product out. I've experienced times where I accidentally spilled the toner because if you’re not careful, you can easily pour too much of the product out or cause spilling. Other than that, no complaints!

Thank you so much Chen for sharing this review! Please do not forget to check out her blog especially if you are a skincare junkie and you love reading skincare reviews. :)

Until next time Pinay Beauties, stay beautiful and goodluck!
