Cheap Finds! Fran Wilson MOODmatcher Lipstick Review & Swatches

Hey loves! I have something exciting to share with you today. This is one of the cheap finds that I had last December and I'm sorry if it took me long time to post this. Anyway, here is my review of the Fran Wilson MOODmatcher Lipsticks.
I never go to Beauty Bar outlets since they sell high-end cosmetics such as Smashbox, The Balm, etc. and clearly I cannot afford them as of the moment. I was pulled to check out the store when Happy Skin launched and I wanted to check out their products. So I went to Beauty Bar Trinoma and I was able to take a glance on these lipsticks. They are affordable for ₱195.00 each and they promise 12 hours of wear so I decided to try them out. I was not disappointed.
Weird right? Why would I buy a black and blue lipstick? Well, they are color-changing lipsticks. The way it works is when you put them on your lips, the colors vary according to your body's chemistry. So how the color shows up would really depend from one person to the other.

There are 10 shades available for this lipstick, which changes into a range of pinks, purples, reds and browns. Here is a guide:Photo taken from www.earthhenna.com

I got the shades Black and Blue. Here's what they look like on my skin:

I am definitely inlove with the Blue color. Should I have found the guide above before I purchased this, I would have gone for the Red or the Orange one.

This lipsticks claim to have a 12-hour formula that outlasts eating, drinking, and even kissing. It also includes Aloe Vera and Vitamin E and are non-drying. I have tried wearing them for a long time and in fact, they are very moisturizing and they did not dry out my lips.

Here's what the color Blue looks like on my lips:
After 4 hours of drinking, smacking and smoking, here's what it looks like:
I love that it didn't become blotchy like other lip stains, yes it is a little uneven and you can clearly see that it is more pigmented in the inner parts but I love that it fades gradually, leaving a nice amount of stain on the lips. One complain that I have though is that it is super hard to remove it, even my Maybelline Eye and Lip Makeup Remover doesn't take this off completely. Well, that just proves how long lasting it is right?

What I like about this product:
- Very affordable for ₱195.00.
- Available locally (check the nearest Beauty Bar).
- Very long lasting, may lasts more than the 12-hour claim.
- Non-drying, leaves lips moisturized.
- Very easy to apply.
- Leaves a stain and is not blotchy when fading.
- Can mix and match colors, or you can layer another lipstick on top of it.

What I don't like about this product:
- Smell, it smells like old cosmetics.
- Hard to remove.
- Color may vary from one person to the other.

Overall, I love this lipstick, and I will definitely purchase the other shades. I love finding cheap products that are not so popular but works really really well, even better than high-end products.

Anyway, I hope you like this review. Have you tried this lipstick before? Share your thoughts on the comments, or let me know if you have any other cheap finds that you would like me to check out and do a review on. Thank you so much for reading and for the support. Yes dear, actually my partner's mom loves it so much! I gave her the black one, btw. She said she applies it before lipstick and it stays on all day. :D
