FOTD: "Rebel" Lips (Inspired by Shaaanxo)

Hello Pinay Beauties! How are you doing? Sorry for being MIA during weekdays, it is just super busy at work that my brain is too tired to function and write a blogpost content, so I thought I'll just post this makeup look I did earlier today because this is fairly easy to write as I just share with you guys what products I used, etc.
As I have said, work has been super hectic and stressful these past few weeks for me, so when I take my lunch break (which is around 6 AM because my schedule is weird), I just like to step away from my computer and do something that relaxes me or just something different than answering emails and chats. I use this hour of free time to go through my makeup collection and play around with it. It is also practice for me so that I can apply my makeup faster. Plus, I work homebased and I rarely go out so it is just a perfect way to use them.

This look was actually inspired by Shaaanxo's MAC Rebel Makeup Look. I was watching her old videos and this one really caught my attention. You can watch Shannon's tutorial here:

I really like the look she created and even though I do not have the MAC Rebel, I do have its dupe which is the Wet N Wild Sugar Plum Fairy so I thought I can recreate the look. I do not also own the eyeshadows that she used so I just looked for something similar that I have in my stash.

Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser
Ever Bilena Studio Finish Stick Foundation in Creme
Pixy UV Whitening Perfect Fit Two Way Cake in Golden Beige
ELF Makeup Mist & Set
Ellana Minerals Blush Duo in Light Roast/Butter Rum Coffee
Colour Collection Colour Intense Powder Blush in Rosy Affair

Wet N Wild Ultimate Brow Kit in Ash Brown

Avon 8-in-1 Eye Palette in The Greens
Pixy Colors Of Delight Eye Shadow in Romantic Poem
Max Factor Kohl Pencil in Black
Pixy Perfect Eyeliner in Black
Pixy Waterproof Mascara in Black

NYX Lip Liner in Purple Rain
Wet N Wild Megalast Lipstick in Sugar Plum Fairy

If you watched Shannon's video, then it is pretty self explanatory. I just did my base makeup, added blush, contour and a little highlight for the photos. For the eyes, I used the khaki green eyeshadow (6th shadow) from the Avon palette all over the lids, the purple shadow from the duo on my crease and the dark brown shadow from the palette on the outer v and lower lashline. I also skipped the false lashes just because I didn't feel like wearing one.

Here is the finished look:
The purple color did not show up as much as I wanted to, it actually looks like brown if you don't stare at it much. Nonetheless, I still love the look and I will wear this outside, like if I am going to an event or a party.

I hope that you enjoy this quick FOTD post/tutorial. Let me know if you want to see more of these. I actually like recreating makeup looks from Youtube gurus with local or accessible products, so if this is something that you are interested in I can definitely do more; just let me know if you have any requests as well.

I am thinking of doing like a budget-friendly school makeup post, with product recommendations and a super quick makeup look. I already have an idea of how I am going to do that so please watch out for it. And it is the end of the month so a favorites post will be up too. More reviews and tutorials coming your way loves! I just hope that you will be patient with my irregular updates, etc. Thank you so much for all of your support! I love you all!
