Review and Swatches: Ever Bilena Shade Lipsticks

Hello loves! I am back for another review and this is a fairly new product from Ever Bilena which they launched around February this year. Here are my thoughts on their EB Shade Lipsticks.
When I saw this post from Mom Gone Vain, I knew that I have to try these lipsticks. They really intrigued me plus the price is only ₱95 each so I thought I need to get my hands on them.

Let's start with the packaging. They feel light and are made with cheap plastic, which I think they can do better. But, considering the price and that the lipstick works so well, I think they just compromised the packaging.

I am not sure why there are different packaging on this line. I then figured out that the ones with a white center has the striped with kissmark packaging, while the ones with the clear center comes with the hearts and much simpler packaging.

There are 12 shades available for this line, and I noticed that they are more in the reds and pink categories, not so much nudes or browns. I picked up three shades [L-R]: Rosy Mirage, Dazzling Orchid and Blazing Fever.
Now you see what I mean with the white and clear center. The one with the white center gives out a sheen kind of semi-matte finish, while the ones with the clear center gives out a more shiny or glossier finish. Here are the swatches:
It is a bit hard to blend out the color because of the balm/gloss center, but the color pay-off is amazing nonetheless.

ROSY MIRAGE
This is one of the most neutral pink shades on the line. I love the semi-matte finish and that it is very moisturizing. This is a good everyday shade and it lasts long on the lips. It does not settle on the lines of my lips, and the color is just opaque and gorgeous. It glides on evenly and smoothly too.

DAZZLING ORCHID
I got this because of the color, I noticed that I do not own a lot of plummy lip colors and this one is perfect. Unlike Rosy Mirage, this has more of a satin finish and it is a bit harder to even out the color, although I must say I am impressed with the pigmentation. It also did not last as long as Rosy Mirage.

BLAZING FEVER
Again, look at the color. I love this deep berry red shade so much. Just like Dazzling Orchid, it is a bit hard to even out the color but still very pigmented and opaque.

Now for the downer, I hate the scent of these lipsticks! They smell super synthetic, it is strong sweet candy scent that leans toward the old lady lipstick scent. Ugh I just can't stand it sometimes, and it does not fade as quick as I want it to.

What I like about this product:
- Readily available and very affordable for ₱95 each.
- 12 shades to choose from, although they do not have nudes.
- Pigmented and opaque.
- Very moisturizing, did not dry out my lips.
- Rosy Mirage stayed for 4-5 hours on me.
- Glides smoothly on the lips.

What I didn't like about this product:
- Scent!
- Cheap packaging.

Overall, they are impressive for the price, especially Rosy Mirage. I would highly suggest checking out the ones with the white center instead of the clear one. They are opaque, has a semi-matte finish, moisturizing and lasts a bit longer.

Have you tried any of these lipsticks? What are your thoughts about it? Let me know on the comments below, and as usual if you have any questions, suggestions and product request, leave them down below.

Thank you so much for reading guys and I hope this has been helpful! I will see you in my next review, yes Stay pretty as always, and goodluck!

They look so nice on your lips! (even though you say they are hard to blend) I have Red Vixen and Flaring Cranberry. The Flaring Cranberry smells much better, leaning towards vanilla. At least it doesn't have that old lady lipstick smell. :/
