New Makeup Products: Etude House, NYX, ZenZest, Nichido and Ever Bilena

Hello lovely readers! My makeup collection is growing, fast! I am so happy to add new products on my makeup kit. And I really need a new bag/traincase. Do you guys have any suggestions? Anyhow, I wanted to share with you guys my new makeup products.

I forgot how good it feels to receive gifts until my aunt gave me some products from Etude House. The first one is the Collagen Moistfull Essence-In Base in Mint Essence.

Basically, this is a green makeup base perfect for correcting the redness of the face. And I really need this because my face is red. An SA from Estee Lauder once told me that my face is not whiter than the rest of my body, but it is redder so I need to correct it first so I can choose the right shade of foundation. Here's what the base looks like:

Left Side: With the Collagen Moistfull Base, well blended
It leaves the skin smooth and soft, and it smells really nice. I think the scent is similar to my Surprise Me Concealer from Etude House as well. I have not yet tried this on my face, but I am excited to see if it really does make a difference. What I like about it is that it has the same pump as my Nichido True Colors Foundation (see review here): you have to twist it to dispense the product.

Next would be their Tear Drop Liner in Silver. I absolutely love this! I am so into K-Pop makeup looks and this is so perfect to use in the inner eye corners. Let me know if you would like to see a K-Pop inspired makeup tutorial.

The last gift I got is the Drawing Eyebrow. It is a retractable pencil with a spoolie brush on the other end.

I am not sure which shade I got, but it is this deep brown shade with a gray tone. I love that it is shaped triangularly. I am so excited to try this on my brows. My brows are quite thick, so the issue that this is not that pigmented is okay with me. It means I can build it up little by little to just fill in some spots on my brows.

Downside is, it contains so little product! The pencil is so short. I think this costs 125, I am not sure if it is worth the price.

I also got a new lipstick and lipliner from Stuff In Style. They are both from NYX, and they are both red! First up is the NYX Matte Lipstick in Perfect Red. I think that is is really the perfect red! It has a slight bluish undertone which is perfect for all skintones and I love it!

Next would be the NYX Retractable Lip Liner in Red. This has an orange undertone and is slightly brighter than the lipstick, but I think they both go perfectly together. I love that it is retractable, so I need not to worry about sharpening it. I will definitely post a review or tutorial on how to use these products!

UPDATE: Just posted a tutorial/review for these products. Check out how to create long lasting red lips here.

My mom gave me this cute ZenZest Lipbalm. I have not heard about lipbalms from ZenZest, so when she gave this to me I was so curious. It has this sweet strawberry scent to it, and it is kinda thick/heavy on the lips but still very moisturizing.

Last Friday, I bought some eye pencils from Nichido and Ever Bilena. Please see my comparison review post on these products.

I also bought the Nichido Minerals Spot Concealer. I am actually intending to use this on the waterline to open up and brighten my eyes, as I don't want to use a white eyeliner. I really thought it was an eyeliner, then I found out that it is a spot concealer. It actually does a pretty good job in concealing. Let me know in the comments below if you would like me to do a review on this product.

And if you are curious as to how I remove my makeup at the end of the day, here's what I use:

This is the brand of wet wipes I've been using ever since! I love the one which is powdered scent, but since its unavailable, I just bought this instead. It does a pretty good job of removing makeup. I just put a little bit of baby oil for removing lipstains, eyeliner, etc.

Thank you so much for the support! I appreciate everyone who reads my blog. Till my next post!

-- Maica :)
