Update: Day 7 of Alba Botanica Natural ACNEdote Skincare Regimen

Hello everyone! As promised, here is an update after a week of using the Alba Botanica Natural ACNEdote skincare regimen. (For full details on these products, please see my skincare haul post.)

Here is the routine that I do everyday for the past week:

Deep Pore Wash

Deep Pore Wash

Deep Clean Astringent

Deep Clean Astringent

Invisible Treatment Gel

Mint Julep Masque (every other night)

Invisible Treatment Gel

Oil-Control Lotion

If you are wondering why I do not use the moisturizer during the morning, for me it feels quite uncomfortable,  like my face feels so heavy or thick, I'm not sure why.

So here's what my face looks like now:

Above: Day 1
Below: Day 7

Left: Day 1
Right: Day 7

Left: Day 1
Right: Day 7
Not much of a difference right? I actually feel like it got worse, but because of multiple reasons: it's my time of the month, I went out last Friday and Tuesday so I have to wear full coverage makeup (let's face it, even if you scrub your face to death, there are still makeup residues that will clog your pores) and I just had Facial Cleaning/Pricking last Saturday

I also used my Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque last Wednesday, Friday, Sunday and Tuesday and I let it sit for an hour or so, and it helped shrink my pores and pimples but I think it was not enough to really improve the condition of my skin.

So for me, Alba Botanica's claim of clearer skin in 7 days did not work. I will continue to use this product though, and we'll see if it works for me. I will give you an update again on Day 14, and I am crossing my fingers that we can see some improvement by then.

Stumbled upon your blog via 'beauty on a shoestring budget' and I'm glad I did. I see more blogs about makeup and not so much on skin care (specifically acne care).

On to read the rest of the series. :)

Thank you so much dear, I'm glad you liked it! That's actually what inspired me to create my own beauty blog. Thanks for the support!
