Review: Krave Minerale Cosmeceuticals' Mist Spritz Makeup Setting Face Mist

Hello! I finally got the time to post this review. I know last week I promised that I will be posting a review for a mineral/organic makeup product. Well here it is! :)
I was never a believer of mineral makeup. It just never works for me, I don't know but I never had a good experience with them (and we're talking about international mineral makeup brands). So when I heard Say rave about this Filipino mineral makeup brand, curiosity hit me and I researched about it. I first got the Oil Eliminator and Skin Hydrator, but it didn't worked for me so I didn't repurchased. It turns out that it is best used as a primer than a setting powder/finishing veil.

I had the privilege to meet Ms. Kat, CEO and Owner of Krave Minerale Cosmeceuticals, when they shot their video ad (my friend was the stylist, and he invited me to come with him). She then gave us freebies, one of which is their Mist Spritz Makeup Setting Face Mist.

I was looking for a setting spray, and I wanted to try mineral makeup product, so it's a win-win for me. I was hooked with this product from the first time I used it!

I am hesitant when I first used this, and I didn't expect that it will deliver and my skin will love it. I am now on my 4th bottle, and I think I will continue to repurchase this! I wanted to try other affordable setting sprays (ELF, I think NYX will release a new one, etc.) but honestly, for 200, this product is amazing!

Krave's description: Sprinkle your face with our unique formula of face mist that sets mineral powders after they have been applied. This fabulous face spray is also convenient for refreshing and hydrating your skin at any time of the day. A dual purpose face spray in a bottle with 3 of the most skin loving botanical extracts that even out skin tone, protects your skin from free radicals, fights wrinkles, fights the growth of bacteria & makes your skin look brighter and healthier. It moisturizes, revivifies and boost your skin's radiance, as well as minimizes age spots, sun spots and fine lines. Works excellent for all skin types, including oily, sensitive, normal and combination skin types.
This can be used as a refreshing face mist, or as a setting spray to set your make up and make it last longer. To prove to you guys that I am not sugar coating this product, let's test it out!

I know that this product is made for mineral makeup, but since I do not have one, I just used my IN2IT Oil Control and Oil Free Foundation (if you have not read about my recent haul, click here). I used the foundation dry, and I did not use any primer to test out the staying power.
I sprayed the Mist Spritz on my face, and let it set for a minute. Here's what my face looks like at 1:51 PM:
The foundation set into my face really well and it looks so flawless, like I'm not wearing makeup at all! It does really set any powder foundation. I usually use this after I finish applying makeup, so that my eyeshadow, blush, etc. will also blend and set in my skin.

The weather is humid today, but I am not sweating. So to up the ante, I cleaned the room, fixed some of my stuff, something to make my face sweat and oil. I tried not to touch my face, nor did I retouch. Here's what my face looks like after almost 4 hours. It is now 5:40 PM.
As you can see, it still looked fresh as I first applied my makeup. The coverage of the foundation over my blemishes is still there, my face is a little bit shiny but it doesn't feel heavy nor oily. I swiped my finger over my face and it wasn't oily and the makeup didn't transfer. Overall my make up stayed in place! I have three words for this product: Amazing, amazing, amazing!

You can purchase this via Krave's Multiply page, or through one of their distributors nationwide. Just visit their Facebook page to find your nearest distributor.

Also, Krave just celebrated their first year anniversary, and they will be launching their new and improved skincare and makeup line! I am excited to test out the new Mist Spritz. I will definitely hoard once its available (and maybe try out the Oil Elimator and Skin Hydrator again).
