Final Update: Day 28 of Alba Botanica Natural ACNEdote Skincare Routine

Hello beautiful readers!

I cannot believe how fast the days go by. I have been using the Alba Botanica Natural ACNEdote products as well as the Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque for a month now. This would be my last and final update about these products.

If you are curious of the routine that i do everyday for the past month, here it is:

Mint Julep Masque (every other night)

Now here are the comparison photos since I started this routine until today:

Okay, I know there's not really a huge improvement. I actually saw the improvement from Day 14 to Day 21, but recently I just had a major breakout again which may be due to some factors : (1) Weather change, days now are quite humid, (2) Hormones, (3) Pollution and Makeup, and/or (4) My skin got used/immune to the product, which I am hoping not. :(

Here are my final thoughts:

  • Deep Pore Wash - I love the minty scent and minty feeling. This product really leaves the skin clean from any dirt or makeup. I also use this to wash my brushes, and it works perfectly!
  • Deep Clean Astringent - The alcohol medicinal scent is still overwhelming, and it stings my face now but the pain for me is tolerable. It dries fast, but I am not really sure if I like it.
  • Invisible Treatment Gel - Although the product claims that it is non-sticky, it definitely feels sticky when you apply it. It also stings especially when you put it on active acne. It doesn't completely clear out your pimple but it does help in reducing its size.
  • Oil-Control - This is my least favorite as it makes my face oil a lot! I do not use this during the day since it feels heavy, and sometimes I do not use it at night as well. I just don't like it.
  • Mint Julep Masque - An absolute love! I will continue to use this product and I will not stop using it. It leaves my skin so soft, smooth and helps a lot in shrinking my pimples and pores.

Anyhow, I will still continue to use this until I could find a more effective product and because I still have half left and it is quite expensive. Do you guys have any suggestions? For those suffering from acne, large pores, oily skin, please let me know by posting a comment below what products worked for you.

And that is it for today! I just purchased few products earlier and I am super excited to do a review about them. Watch out for it lovely ladies! Stay pretty and goodluck!

Hi, Maica! Have you tried dabbing some of the Queen Helene mask on your pimples and leaving them overnight? That helps them dry up faster, for me anyway :)

Hello Chrystal! I haven't tried it yet, I'll try that later because I will attend the BDJ-Shiseido Beauty Soiree and I have a lot of active blemishes. Will let you know if it works for me. Thank you! Oh and thank you for mentioning me on your post as well. :)
