Review and Swatches: Ever Bilena Matte Lipsticks

Hello Pinay Beauties!

It has been super busy last week but now I am back with another review. This is about the Ever Bilena Matte Lipsticks.

These are readily available and affordable as well for 155 each. I got three shades, which are Offbeat Pink, Mauvey and the latest one that I got, Love That Red.

Packaging wise. it comes in the classic Ever Bilena black packaging. It is okay when it comes to sturdiness, just be careful not to drop it, etc.

The very first shade that I got is Offbeat Pink, followed by Mauvey. I think they are just gorgeous and very wearable colors. Although the finish is matte, it doesn't tug the lips once you apply it.

If you are wondering about the color cap, I ask an SA from the Ever Bilena counter if we can use the product inside, and she said that there was no any advise about it and it is much safer if I don't just use it. Good thing though, the color cap of my lippies fit snugly on the case. I believe others are having trouble of loose color caps. So before you purchase, check the color caps.

Color looks brighter than in the picture. This was my favorite until I discovered Mauvey. I think this color suits me well and is very flattering for other fair skinned Filipinas out there. If you wanted a more darker pink shade, you can try Pink Flame.

Mauvey is a pinkish nude color. It's just perfect for everyday use. I believe the nudest shade on the EB Matte Lipstick line is called Skintone. but that was too dark for me. I believe Morena's will like Skintone, and for fair skinned gals out there, Mauvey is a definitely must have.

I just purchased this lipstick a week ago, and I think Ever Bilena changed their formulation somehow because this lipstick is more semi-matte and more moisturizing than Offbeat Pink and Mauvey which I purchased a year ago. At first I though it has a blue undertone, but when I put it on my lips, it was so much brighter that I expected it to be. This lipstick has a neutral undertone, so this can be perfect for both fair skinned and Morenas out there.

What I like about this product:
  • Affordable and locally available
  • Has many shades to choose from
  • Matte finish
  • Doesn't tug the lips when you apply it
  • Staying power for Love That Red is 5 hours or more
  • Pigmentation is okay, just need a couple of swipes

What I didn't like about this product:
  • Dries out after 2 hours of applying
  • Emphasizes the dry part of the lips, need to wear lip balm under it
  • Transfers a lot
  • Staying power for Offbeat Pink and Mauvey is 3 hours the most

Overall, I still love the Ever Bilena Matte Lipsticks. Very affordable and the shades are gorgeous! If you are not a fan of super matte lipsticks, you can always put a gloss on top of it. Go check out these lipsticks the next time you see an Ever Bilena counter or stall (they are everywhere, trust me).

Thank you so much for reading guys! I have a lot of blogs coming your way, as well as a surprise. Please let me know if you have any questions, suggestions, etc. by posting a comment below, message me on Facebook or on my . Goodluck!
