BDJ Box Beauty Soiree: Revlon Summer Luau Makeup Workshop

Hello loves! As promised, I just wanted to share to you what happened last Saturday at the BDJ Box and Revlon Summer Luau Makeup Workshop. :)

I was super honored to be invited to this event. It was held at the Borough, The Podium. It was a really cozy restaurant with good food! :)

As you can see on the photo above, the event was held at the 2nd floor. When I reached the top of the stairs, I was welcomed by Michiko, she's really nice and sweet. The set up was pretty neat too, and it was really an intimate workshop as there only a handful of tables.
I was assigned to Table/Group 2, where I immediately saw Glenda. I first met her at the Max Factor Junior Makeup Artist Workshop that we both attended. While waiting for the event to start, I can't help but look at all the Revlon products laid out on our table. And, they were sealed! We were the first ones to use them. There are also new products that haven't been launched yet, like the Skinlights and Bronzer (which I both love!).
And so the workshop started. Ann Paredes started with a powerpoint presentation explaining the basics in makeup, then she did a demo on a summer look for both fair-skinned and morena.
After the workshop, we were asked to create our own summer look! I was super excited to play around with the makeup products. Here's what I came up with:
After creating our makeup looks, snacks were served as well. The food was delicious, aside from the buffalo wings which are too spicy for me. I forgot to take a photo of the milk and cookies since they were served late. Those cookies are amazing and I might go back to Borough just for them.
The makeup workshop was very fun and informative! I also enjoyed the company of my group mates and other blogger friends who were at the event too!
Beside me is the gorgeous Rochelle. She won one of the best outfit awards by the way.

Overall, I really enjoyed the event! I was able to meet new friends, was able to try new products and play around with makeup! I will definitely visit a Revlon counter near me once the bronzer and illuminators were launched, I really love them! You should watch out for them too.
Okay, forgive my little vanity here. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this post! Thank you so much for reading everyone and I will see you in my next post. Goodluck!
