Crazy Over BB Creams: Colour Collection Whitening and Age Defying BB Cream

Hello loves! I am back with another review and I was supposed to post this a month ago (photos were taken at that time) but never really got around to writing the content. Anyway, here is my review of the Colour Collection BB Creams.
If you haven't heard of the brand yet, Colour Collection is the cosmetic line of Tupperware Brands Philippines. It sounds weird because we all know that Tupperware is known for their plastic containers and what have you, but I think their line of cosmetics is something that you do not want to miss out on.
I was fortunate to get both variants of this BB Cream, the Whitening one from my September BDJ Box and the Age Defying one is from Sample Room. I believe this retails for ₱599, which is a bit pricey than other BB Creams in the market. I think it will be better for me to review them at the same time so I can kind of provide comparisons, etc.

For starters, here are the swatches of the BB Creams:
Left: Whitening, Right: Age Defying
As you can see, the Whitening variant is thicker in consistency and more yellow than the Age Defying one. Let's discuss them one at a time, yes?

Product Description and Ingredients:
The packaging is a squeeze tube, which has a small hole in the middle. It is also very compact and can easily fit in your makeup kit. This BB Cream claims to whiten, moisturize and heal acne blemishes, which really suit my needs.

As stated above, the consistency of this is thicker than the Age Defying variant, but it only gives light to medium coverage. What I love about is that easily blends on my skin, and a pea size amount can cover the whole face. It also has a semi-matte finish and feels lightweight.

Here's what it looks like on my face:
As you can see, it was able to cover some of my blemishes and redness, although you can still see my pimple marks on both the 1 and 2 layers of the BB Cream. It is definitely buildable, but I don't think it affects the coverage. If you have perfect skin, I think you'll like this.

Even though the BB Cream is light and has a yellow undertone, it still looks light. When we tested this, we did not put any powder to see how it looks like and how it will last. It took 10 minutes for the BB Cream to really sink in and set, although it still feels a bit tacky. Without powder, this lasted on my super oily skin for around 5 hours, but I was super shiny.

Oh, and since it has high SPF, it gives a white cast on photos.

Product Description and Ingredients:
Packaging is the same as the Whitening variant, but the color is bronze-y brown. For the benefits, it is the same as the other one although this claims to minimize wrinkles and has SPF 45. Consistency wise, this is more thinner than Whitening, and it also has a dewy finish. Coverage is lighter as well. I asked my partner's mom to use this on her aged skin, and here's how it looks like:
As you can see, she has melasma and other discolorations on the skin. She is darker than me, but the color still looks light on her skin. Even with light coverage, it was able to even out her skintone. Because aged skin has wrinkles, etc. the dewy and moisturized look made the skin look a bit more younger and smooth than it is.

Ofcourse, you can still use this even if you don't have aged skin. If you want the dewy, younger skin effect, this is the BB Cream for you. I asked her and she said that it feels light on the skin. It held on pretty well on her skin since she has normal to combination skin. I believe she used this when they went to Subic and it stayed for hours.

What I like about these products:
- Skin benefits that works with continued use.
- Didn't break us out.
- Has high levels of SPF, perfect for everyday use.
- Feels lightweight and stays on for long hours.
- Blends easily on the skin.
- Evens out skintone.

What I didn't like about these product:
- Not easily available, you need to contact/find a Tupperware dealer.
- Light coverage, if you have problematic skin you might not like it.
- Looks shiny/oily after a few hours, need to set with powder and blot through the day.

- If you have problematic skin (small blemished and acne) and wanted a bit more coverage, go for the Whitening variant.
- If you have fine lines and wrinkles, go for the Age Defying variant.
- If you prefer a semi-matte finish, go for Whitening. If you like the dewy effect, try Age Defying.
- If you have super oily skin, you might want to use Whitening instead of Age Defying, but you still need to set it with powder.

My rating:

PBIAB thinks..

Staying Power

Oil Control

Overall, I think this BB Cream is at par with some of the popular Korean BB Creams on the market, the good thing is it is formulated for us who lives in the Philippines. The high SPF and staying power is definitely perfect for this summer.

Have you tried this BB Cream yet? What are your thoughts about it? Let me know if this has been helpful, I would love to hear from you guys! :) Thank you so much for reading, and I will see you in my next review. Goodluck!

I appreciate how you present the review in the way so many girls/ladies can relate, having an imperfect skin like mine too. Hope you can have it checked by your doctor, it must be something related to your hormones? Nice blog tho... looking forward to more post...

Yes, it is really related to hormones. But yeah, the main reason I decided to do this blog is to present products that will work with someone who has imperfect skin, but I am crossing my fingers that my face will clear out soon. Thank you for reading! :)
