Review and Swatches: Nichido Multiple Stick In Sunset Glow

Hello Pinay Beauties! I apologize for not being able to post this past few weeks. Aside from the fact that I am still recovering from being sun burned in Zambales, I came down with a pretty strong flu just this weekend and although I am not yet well, I am feeling kinda okay now.

So today I wanted to do a review of the Nichido Multiple Stick in Sunset Glow.

When I posted my review of the Fashion 21 Blush Stick, a few of you guys commented that it reminded you of this particular product, so I added it on my wishlist of things to purchase. Lucky for me, I bought this for half the price at Robinsons Galleria. From ₱188, I got it for only ₱94.

This is relatively smaller and more compact than the Fashion 21 Blush Stick, it also contains less product. Here are some swatches:

This product is also as pigmented as the Fashion 21 Blush Stick, but it goes on smoothly and is more easy to blend. I love that it does not have a scent to it.

Since I have been comparing these 2 blush sticks, I would like to give you a side by side swatch as well:

Left: Nichido Multiple Stick in Sunset Glow
Right: Fashion 21 Blush Stick in #2

As you can see, the Nichido Multiple Stick has a deeper color than the Fashion 21 Blush Stick. I am not sure if you can see it but the Nichido Stick is more creamier.

Since it's called the Nichido Multiple Stick, it can be used to add a bit of tint to the lips. I also tried it using the Fashion 21 Blush Stick since I got a comment asking if it can be used for the lips, here are the swatches:

Top: Nichido Multiple Stick in Sunset Glow
Bottom; Fashion 21 Blush Stick in #2

As you can see, the Nichido Multiple Stick added a hint of pink on my lips, unlike the Fashion 21 Blush Stick that made my lips look a bit washed out. Also, I experience tugging issues with the Fashion 21 Blush Stick, unlike the Nichido Multiple Stick which glided smoothly on the lips and isn't as drying as the latter.

What I like about this product:
  • Easily available
  • Good pigmentation
  • Smooth and easy to apply
  • Not as drying
  • Multi-use product (can be used as a blush, lip tint or eyeshadow base)
  • Does not have any scent to it

What I didn't like about this product:
  • A bit expensive for product quantity (₱188 for 4.68 g of product)
  • Only 2 shades available
  • If not set with powder it tends to become oily.

Overall, I love this product and I regret not buying the other shade while it was 50% off. I cannot pick between my Fashion 21 Blush Stick and this, since I love the color of that one so much. I hope this post is helpful and let me know if you have any other product review requests, suggestions, etc.

Also, remember when I asked if I should do a makeup collection post or not? I am still thinking if I should do it or how should I do it. Do you have any suggestions? Please post a comment below what you think. Please like me on Facebook and follow me on Twitter and once I reach 500 Facebook likes and 200 Twitter followers I will be having another giveaway.

Thank you so much for reading Pinay Beauties and I will see you in my next post. Goodluck!
